I can sympathize with Matt's crusade against private equity, having seen firsthand the damage they wreak in the interest of their own short-term profit. That's why I'm so disappointed in his indefensible actions over the past month.

I haven't seen a crusade against private equity. That would be odd from someone whose company took funding from private equity.
