I get the argument, and I agree with much of it. But the author loses points with me by using the term bastard, and derogatorily at that.

Implying that a child born out of wedlock is of less value than one born in wedlock is silly. It reduces to judging someone for something wholly out of their control, while at the same time yelling, "Marriage (hence Church and Government) good! No marriage bad!"

What an antiquated mentality.

Colloquial usage and etymology are not the same thing.

It's time the world got together and dealt with the billionaires for once and all.

Banning them from politics would be a good start.

Occupy Oligarchy! We are the 99%!

Citizens United was one of the worst SCOTUS decisions for democracy. It's not just the billionaires though, politicians have gerrymandered themselves into permanent seats. They pick their voters, completely backwards.

check out some Michael Sandel, this is central to his thesis, and comes from being around all walks of life. We self segregated by wealth and politics, no longer seeing how others live or hearing how they think, IRL

Yeah, it's truly ridiculous. Imagine if Bezos was saying parts were wasted on laptops and pcs and were hindering the cloud buildout. Hell, if personal pcs and laptops were invented after the cloud and were dominated by Chinese companies I suppose we would be accusing China of stealing US data center hardware IP and prevent pcs and laptops from being built in the US to prevent them competing with the US cloud.
