Fun game. For the first few games I think a way to peek at the rules while playing would be great, and maybe call out the non-obvious ones. I initially missed that one X never connects to an O since it’s the length-1 path

I'd update the HN submission url to the actual source, i.e. either the above game url, or its "how to play" section at https://pell.achromath.com/how-to-play .

Currently the submission points to a third party review of the game - IMO it seems more appropriate as a comment.

Wait. So if I write a review/article about a product the HN link should be changed to point to the product not my review? That makes no sense.

If the review is about a casual web game and if instead of reading quotes, your impression and your ads I can experience the game myself then yes we should point to the product.

Note that the whole review seems off topic too. It’s neither more interesting nor more accessible than the topic itself.

Dude, the links in that article go to: 1. The review framework used to review the game 2. The game page itself where user can post their own reviews 3. The original game url

I submitted this gripe (before I saw your comment) to the "report an issue" widget on the puzzle site. I wonder if this puzzle will get ongoing development.

I have a few ideas for feature requests, but I'm not going to bother submitting them if it appears there's no interest.
