Hello all, Author here!
We've gone through a phase where we looked into JDs, job openings, applications daily, even hourly. Openings are too specific about what they care. we read all of the JD only to find it's not suitable to you. Eventually, we either be wasting time or applying to irrelevant jobs.
I built this to overcome the situation, keeping privacy in mind. We just need to host this app and register ourself by uploading the resume. Eventually the app sweeps career portals directly, like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, workday, oracle, etc. Everything is stored in a SQLite db. Application has it's offline-matcher which gives matching score for resume-role, and extends beyond. OpenAI, Openrouter, Ollama compatible.
Simple setup - clone the repo, run docker compose up -d or the start program directly. First run walks you through onboarding. everything runs locally.
Currently known limits are - No auth on web ui, if you want to route publicly, use cloudflare tunnels + Access or relevant stuff.
As this is in active development, i'd love to hear which job sources to add next and improve the application.
Edit: it also shows the categorical scores. There's a diff checker to compare two openings keeping them side by side.
