I have sensed a trend in the industry of companies in the tech industry reporting immense scarcity of the products they want to sell you. Seems like age old used car salesman tactics, but I'm cynical.

We are seeing out-of-capacity errors in our dynamic workloads more often the last 6 months or so, non-Ai workloads fyi.

Understandable. But it doesn't seem completely unreasonable in this case, given that AI labs have clearly exhausted much compute, the all-out effort to build data centers is underway, and memory / other resources have been strained for some time.
