Why is pricing based on number of team members? I do not see how this relates to the product cost / benefit

We have developed a hosted status page product in 2020. Since then, we have had paying customers through organic search and there are customers using the product for more than couple of years now. However, our conversion rate is slow.

1) How can we increase the traffic to our product's website?

2) When there are signups who might have left due to various reasons, what could we do to understand why they are not using it?
