Why am I good at this haha? It's very cool.

"Every note you play is shifted imperceptibly to land on beat." That's so smart, has it been done before? Feels like aim assist in video games

Makes me think of:

Yeah that process of adjusting notes to land on beat is called "quantization." It's a feature that many music creation tools have, but I've really only seen it used after the fact. Instead, I wanted it to be front and center so that you can play live with the slight correction. It's like musical training wheels haha

Nice job. The notes quantized to the beats is similar to how arpeggiators work, or arranger keyboards such as when you change chord progressions.

If you like experimental musical visualization stuff, you might also check out electroplankton for the Nintendo DS. It's an oldie but a classic.

Oh, that's really cool, I hadn't heard of Electroplankton before. I'm going to check it out! I definitely see a big opportunity with pairing quantization with scales to let novices play well right from the jump.

Yeah, very cool! What is making the sounds? Web audio API/tone.js? Samples?

this is really cool. Are you an actual developer? the studio seems to be owned by non-tech folks so if not, pretty cool...

Hey, I am the developer. Our studio also make the Hemingway Editor, but this is one of our more fun projects.
