Why dont hospitals fire all surgeons and have AI perform the operations ?

Banks have some requirements that nobody trusts AI with yet - about auditability, and never losing a cent, and tax reportability, and business continuity, and anti-money-laundering, and probably some that haven't occurred to me. Nobody trusts AI, because a bug can cost real money.
