Most of the comments are full of the angriest people on this site for no reason over a web browser. This comment just summarizes everything we need to know [0].

Firefox is open source and it is also released for free ($0), but maintaining Firefox isn't done for free. The ones complaining are not paying for it at all, (Google is paying) and Mozilla owes them absolutely nothing.

If one has to get angry of a tiny "redesign" and they are not paying customers whilst still using it for free, maybe they are the problem.

Well I can't pay for it even if I wanted to, so that's not a good argument.

And the redesign isn't tiny, it made a core feature (tabs) significantly worse to use in my case.
