When giving it to Albanese would be too radical

The Australian PM? Why? Can you add some context for those of us who live under a rock?

To be fair, it’s an endemic issue to have to wonder about some of the basic facts of Australian politicians. Was Whitlam’s dismissal constitutionally sound? Where’s Holt? I think there’s probably a fair few constitutional scholars busy for the next few decades trying to piece together from first principles what Scott Morrison was or wasn’t… “Wait, Albanese?” turns out to have a fairly straightforward answer in this case at least.

Social construct not fiction. International law is just as made up as any other laws, and all countries respect at least some of it even if there's no central enforcement mechanism.

Or I'm misunderstanding your comment and you believe fiction and social constructs are one and the same, and maybe more real than the physical world. I could get behind that.

If it is fiction why do war criminals like Putin still pretend to act according to it?

Because we live by stories, preferably those in which we think we are the good guys. People like Putin know that and use it to their own advantage.
