Great, so he can fix & deliver a patch for U7 II, the one bug that you couldnt finish because you killed by accident the wrong person....

For the longest time I felt no game did immersive open world nearly as well as Ultima VII.

The NPC schedules, the emergent gameplay.. That bank heist.. Peak.

The videogame industry is completely different from the 80s and 90s. It would be like asking Juan Trippe to run Ryanair.

The memories, Ultima Online was complete insanity. The cursing, screaming , laughing, crying, all across a 28k modem.

The meta game experience from UO is still unmatched.

Same here. Loved this game, spent so many hours macroing to keep my stats up.

Got into a beef with people that had a house next to me and I have so many funny stories. Stealing their ore while invisible and holding it with my mouse button while it's in "limbo" for hours until they finally gave up and I was able to drag it to my house by moving it from behind me to in front of me one tile at a time as you would be too heavy to move while carrying it (how I stole it from them as well).

You could even chop dead bodies up and re-arrange the body parts in UO. I did that after we had a battle one time and they had to watch me do it while they were in ghost form. Ahhhh, good times.

On Napa Valley I had 1 character that was best buds with a famous PKer and another character who was his arch-nemesis. Fun times...
