This is really cool. Never thought of blockchain to be a tamper proof record of any history, not just money.

Wait. If I want to save a web snippet as a part of a bookmark or a note to self, does this mean, instead of saving it locally, I can instead have them create a snapshot of that site and just link to it permanently in my notebook or app??

I’ve printed to PDF every interesting web site I’ve encountered this century. 90,000+ files ..

Each one contains the record of when I read it, when it was accessed .. plus all the content in the world.

My own private Internet of a lifetime.

Are TimestampAuthority still reasonable? Like apple has one, FreeTSA, others. They have good accuracy. These on-chain ones seems to have less. So what if we need that sub-second assurance?

Very interesting project and I think that my project of nanotimestamps could also be of interest to the author (I will try to see if I can replicate what they did as well but on the other chain)

Here is also a comment of mine explaining what it is in more depth as well[1] (I hope this comment doesn't sound as self-plug as that isn't my intention much rather than informing about other chains which can also be useful and more efficient [in this case free! which can help provide more use cases to the people at projecttimestamper and other folks])

If the people at projecttimestamper.org are reading this and are interested, please feel free to contact me if I can be of help as I love the idea and this is a really cool thing that they have done, timestamping has so many good use cases :-D
