The structures on which life happens are obviously quantum, like all of the physical universe thus observed.

But, life is not made up of that substance and doesn't come from quantum (or macro) materials. A constant puzzle for science and the theme of all religions is how, exactly, life and consciousness might arise on these surfaces.
