This is a pretty easy payment for DoorDash to make to stay in the city's good graces.
It doesn't change the fact that these services are inherently an unsustainable business model and exploitative by nature.

This effort, and this software rolled out to other cities, should help kill exploitative business practices in this context. We can leverage automation and regulation together to defend against economic exploitation.
