Slowly Malibu to Santa Barbara is starting to develop a quantum industry. Google kickstarted it with UCSB out of Goleta a few years back. MS is opening in Goleta and now IBM purchasing HRL in Malibu is a big deal for the area.

I'm excited that HRL will get some life blown back in to it- frankly.
