There's zero chance I'd ever tip a robot, so nobody would get mine.

Except that's not really the case. The cut is already baked in by the fact that these companies are allowed to pay tipped positions less than the normal minimum wage.

Perhaps the robots get to save up their tip money to buy their freedom
