Hmm, music that takes refuge from its critics by claiming to be better than it sounds, and also claiming it’s the listener’s fault if they don’t get it (i.e. they just aren’t trying hard enough, blaming the customer). Must ask if the game was worth the candle at that point. Experiments? If so, then a very low-yield experimental program, given the listening public’s general disdain for the genres in 2026, after 50 or so years of due consideration.
