No need to stress about AI replacing software development at the end of the day.

Coding is just about solving problems.

When coding with AI, you basically describe the problem in plain English, and then let the LLM spit out the code. But here’s the catch: real-world problems are insanely messy, and human language is vague. Because we can't describe things precisely, LLMs can't resolve all problems without a smart human involved.

What programmers need to consider is using AI to improve their intelligence

You can still code, no one takes that away from you. I still keep personal projects I code by hand.

Just because we have photographs doesn't mean artists stopped painting.

Why does it have to be black and white. You can use AI without vibe coding.

Yes they won.

Think about it like this, every problem of "AI can do X, but it can’t do X" is another great enticing challenge for the model creators and the AI Labs to solve in order to democratise coding and other fields.

I think this is a good thing as it removes the barriers to entry, but it also means you should adapt.

This isn't the end and there will always be new jobs.
