I'm not sure we should listen to Sasse. Sure, he voted to convict Trump the 2nd time Trump was impeached, but Sasse resigned a short way into his 2nd term as senator instead of sticking around and either doing what Nebraskans want done, or bring an anti-Trump leader. His presidency of UF seems to have been a little sketchy, with allegations of unusually large spending.
