Mostly for data centers. He says ~~half will be grid-connected, but that does not imply that they can be used for peaking. The ones nearest me will not be grid-connected. My RTO have obviously no idea how to manage a market that is so sharply and suddenly distorted by AI demand, my utility blames everything on the RTO, and my PUC gives the utility everything they ask for. In a crisis, what class of load will be shed first?
