I am not a fan of AI but these kinds of articles are just so much nonsense. If the only kind of work you understand is knowledge work it feels like a challenge. But it ignores the fact that much of what humanity does is practical, that AI needs someone to keep the electricity on, and what on earth is the point of AI without humans to consume it's output?
