Regardless it has still been an effective pharmaceutical for quite some time.

This article does look like it has some of the more recent information, and compares lithium to other pharmaceuticals in a number of ways.

However for more realistic reading, every time they refer to lithium as a drug, that is where it should say "mineral" instead of "drug".

This doesn't apply to the other pharmaceuticals which were invented by human effort.
