It'd be funny if some quirk of its design caused it to benefit from external radio waves.

If so, we might wait a very long time and then be a little disappointed. I would hope this kind of museum would already have a lot of shielding around in addition to the glass jars.

It would also be funny if someone was secretly in charge of maintaining a magnetic coil built into the shelf under the based, as a very long running prank.
