This "article" is very strange. It would be better if I could tell what things the author of this tweet soup is saying and what things old 1600 music literature was saying. Its very hard to tell what's an individual thought and what is in old literature. Also the no references is pretty confusing.
Ideas like atonal music will commonplace is pretty wild. I doubt I'm going to hear some music school avant-garde student produce any atonal music that would ever be even close to the mainstream.
Also the idea that whatever this is would be the end of the notation era is pretty insane.
Live music is still a thing you know? its not going to go anywhere and notation would still have its place even in micro tonal atonal music.
Is this some late night drug fueled rant?
Also can we stop posting content like this in blue sky replies? or do you think written word on a text document is some dark age idea?
