It is because Grok Bot is from SpaceX, i.e. Elon Musk.

This is an OpenClaw competitor relevant to tech. But because it has an association with Elon Musk, the audience on HN quickly flags it.

In fact, baseless claims of SpaceX being a scam [0] is far more interesting than this press release it seems.

Dang already explained that the flag system works automatically based on how many people flagged the post. The mods will remove the flag whenever gets to their attention.

It is a system that suffers with the new wave of bots in online discourse, but I'm not sure if removing the users' power to flag would be better
