Article is from May, there were a few posts about this topic (though not linking this exact article) back then but none seem to have generated any discussion.

We have what, gen5 in modern PCs? I haven't been paying much attention recently, it's not like I can justify the price of major upgrades thanks to the slopophiles having ruined the memory and storage markets. Whatever it is, it'll be a while before we see this in anything consumer-facing.

1TB a second is just wild though. Wiggling electrons around 256 billion times a second, and then doing it 16 lanes wide reliably for years on end is a feat of absolute wizardry.

Can't wait for the prices to go down so something utilizing that becomes obtainable.
