Both npm and git can work for the install. Please feel free to have Claude inspect it in detail as you suggested. I spent the last two weeks or so mostly with hardening work and probing for potential vulnerabilities and right now I am not aware of any but the more eyes and brains we have the better, that is one of the advantages of open source. Needless to say I have not put any backdoors into it but I understand that it is better to trust but verify these kind of things.
