I did an analysis of the GitHub repos posted to Hacker New, with a special focus on how the increased output fueled by AI affects the amount of projects that are posted there.
My hope was to figure out, if the AI assisted coding has an impact on how active the repositories stay, but it seems still a little bit early to tell.

I believe we’ll only find out when the bubble bursts; until then, technical debt will keep mounting, and we’ll see a significant number of "vibe-coded" repositories gaining traction.
