It's more likely AI will bring ultimate power to the leader of whatever AI company reaches recursive super intelligence first. ASI includes power of immense societal coercion, unlimited wealth creation, unchecked global influence and control. The sky's the limit. The question is it going to be Altman, Amodei, Musk, or someone else who emerges with ASI first.
