I created a new browser game called ‘Compounded’, in which you have to pair words together to make compound words. It’s a daily game with no sign-ups or downloads. It could be quite challenging, depending on the breadth of your vocabulary.

I am a countdown fan, and I noticed that compound words are often the key to an 8 or 9 letter word (or the conundrum). But I rarely get above 7 letters on countdown! So I thought creating this game might help me spot more compounds.

I used the same dictionary as Countdown (the ODE) to validate all the compound words in the game.
