for every attempt to chop a photon in half, you would miss, several times, there bieng impossibly large numbers of photons everywhere to chop.at, bringing us to the impossibility of chopping photons in half in the first place, if it was possible, the impossibly vast number of photons interacting with everything would yield chopped up photons as a natural side effect of all of interactions, and we dont get those
