Unfortunately, VCs seem to avoid speaking the truth. I liked the comment in the article:

  Capital goes somewhere. It shapes what gets built, who gets a chance, what the world looks like in a decade. I'd rather be one of the people directing it with a conscience than stand outside throwing rocks and achieving nothing. Voting with capital and currency and allocation of investment is ultimately the most impactful vote one can make, far more critical than a vote for a political candidate. That's not even a heroic position either.
