I believe we're heading towads a dead internet in terms of proportion of real human generated content to computer generated content, but I don't think I will ever be able to believe any of the "AI detection" tools/services for any real measure.

Virtually every single article I've read on this topic feels both like an ad for the AI detection tool, and also feels AI generated. Practically every paragraph of this one mentions the name of the company behind that so-called tool.
