Is this what HN is going to become? Prompt an AI and then post its output?

yeah clearly a manufactured excuse to get attention on the project. This is YC HN after all, can't knock it but I also can't bring myself to upvote either.

Funnily enough, I had Claude 4.5 or something come up with a simmiliar style before. And another style which I’ve come across a couple of times.

I assume Claude is trained or has some internal tool calls with style templates and the rest is tricking our brain using the chat into believing we did anything to conteibute to the decisions it made.

Am I missing something? I don't see a retro pixel style besides the background image?

yeah weird, retro pixel is clearly the 8-bit game vibe, but this seems to mean.. square corners?

Not to be mean but the information isn’t easy to read, the layout and background pictures is pretty distracting. It’s not clear what I should focus on, as there isn’t a clear visual flow. The copy feels like a generic Claude voice

The information is very difficult to consume, if I found this on a google search result I’d immediately close the page without reading. It is neat that Fable can design something like this, but the better question is should you actually use a design like this.

The text boxes on top aren't bad, but the background is a total turnoff, it's a big red flag to me. I'd ditch it, remove the fade-in effect that runs at like 10fps, and rewrite your text.

This is just awful. Sorry. The page is so busy. Also, why an ai generated picture of a man on a laptop as the background?

I have so many thoughts but all I can think is this is the epitome of vibecoded slop.

I think the homepage is creative.
