I generally agree with the post but also don’t see a problem with what it claims is going on. It could be summarized as “kids don’t have any respect anymore” or whatever other lament by someone entrenched about new ways of doing things. I think the behavior he calls out is classless, but have absolutely no problem with (and I think encourage) people who aren’t deferential to VCs. It’s sort of the ultimate “aristocrats complain about the proles”.

This is the "two r******s fighting" of founder/VC spats. A lot of founders have behavioral problems, certainly, but a lot of VCs are sociopaths. Both archetypes are well represented in this exchange.
