This is affirmation to me that what we're seeing with AI is circular financing so that these corporations that have had so much power, retain their power. I think that the tech elite saw the writing on the wall that social media is toxic, and destructive, and it's only a matter of time before the government comes for them. SaaS is stagnating, and everything is commoditized. They needed a new spark to perpetuate their wealth and power, and they found it.

We're in a very, very scary time. I guess the upside is that future generations won't be exposed to toxic grandpas yelling about chemtrails and pizzagate. Downside is, they'll be exposed to AI deepfakes and chemical weapons.
