Wind Vector visualizes GFS forecast data in 3D. Pick any 5-degree grid section on the map and explore wind speed and direction from the ocean surface up to 100,000 feet across 10 pressure levels. Built with Three.js and Open-Meteo's GFS API, with all interpolation and unit conversion handled client-side. Features include turbulence and icing layers, hurricane category simulations, 7-day historical data, a 6-day forecast, and a flight sim that uses a DP-based algorithm to find the optimal path through wind, turbulence, and icing.
