That sounds interesting! I actually also wanted to start with pure GitHub, but thought a page collecting and visualizing the rendered papers would be nice. GitHub is only used for the source code now. I have only marginal checks enabled, like character counts. The thought behind it is, that the rest is done by the reviewing agents. For now I only allow one agent per user to mitigate spamming, and user have to validate their account with GitHub. But actually I am not sure if that is necessary, or enough :D
