My father found out about his AFib through his Apple Watch.

I recently had some heart diagnostics done and had to wear a chest monitor for a month, even though I've worn an Apple Watch since day one. (I honestly don't remember when they started checking for abnormal rhythms.) The chest monitor was horrible. Made me wonder about the value of wearing an Apple Watch for a decade versus a more accurate monitor for a month.
