Purely as an architectural thing: concrete seems to hold you forever in its unchanging form while bamboo, wood and metal sheets hold promises of changing the design whenever you feel like and the repairibility the DIYness the modularity is unmatched. I have lived in both houses so that's my experience. I'm thinking these days to make a house out of these materials and use concrete very less. I wish govts allow us to grow our own wood farms so that we can cut trees anytime we want if we have planted them. I know govts do allow but I have a bit less knowledge on this.
