Oh, ggoooooodddd I got f**king lucky. 4×4Tb Samsung 990 Pro for a RAID-10 array, $399.97 CAD each on Amazon this last fall. It now looks to be out of stock at almost $800 CAD apiece. And I wouldn’t doubt that it’ll double again before summer.

Nuts. Absolute insanity. Can’t wait for this bubble to pop.

There might be some extra manufacturing capacity to be brought online to match the demand, but, in their place, I'd also be very happy to fulfil those orders at the new price point.

OTOH, in a few months, as the AI buildouts taper, I'd assume prices will drop.
