In the "irritating social-media-dependent CEO" stakes, I'll take O'Leary over Musk any day. He's at least occasionally funny.

Ryanair won't offer Starlink on their flights, claiming the aerodynamic drag from antennas will cause a 2% "fuel drag" bill adding $200M-250M to the annual kerosene bill.

This doesn't sound right at all. AI estimates the additional fuel cost as ~0.1% to ~0.8%.

The likely reason for Ryanair's reluctance to fit Starlink is that Musk imposes the condition that airlines are not allowed to charge customers extra for using Starlink wifi. And Ryanair's entire business model is built on a horrible pattern of upselling for extras (where those extras are usually things we take for granted on other airlines)
