Why not? As long as there are no weapons payload, and they follow the laws and regulations, nothing much to worry about. Eg don't observe private places, unless they have a court order and such.

They cheaped out though, should have gone for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorgon_Stare instead. But maybe it's equivalent, considering the advances in miniaturization, wireless bandwith/latency/cost.
