Information Lives in the Breaks

I noticed something while copying text: when you don't focus, you don't see words you see flow with breaks.

This led me to a broader observation: information doesn't exist in signals. It exists in interruptions.

- Morse code encodes meaning in silence between beeps - DNA stores information in patterns of breaks (codons, genes) - Computer code runs on transitions between 0 and 1 - Consciousness processes edges, onsets, changes—all breaks

The universe is continuous flow. We impose boundaries to extract information.

The Big Bang was every possible break tried simultaneously. Stable ones became physics.

Curious what HN thinks about this framework.
