The Covid pandemic was basically a mass retarding event. It’s an under-appreciated factor in why the world seems so crazy in its wake. Avoiding infection was easy by wearing a N95 or greater respirator in public and filtering your indoor air, but not many people were able to cut through all the infobullshit to realize that.
