Yeah, that's hard to understand strategically. Is their desired outcome that Paramount to take over WB? Is Paramount somehow backing this protest? But no matter what Paramount promises now, the unions and cinemas must realize they're worse off in the long run. And who would trust any unenforceable promises from those guys? Who would even trust a written contract?
