Oh, hey there, HN! I wrote this after reading a story[0] this morning about protecting Forgejo sites from scraper traffic. I wanted to:
1) Talk about why someone would want to do this. People are often surprised when I tell them how much traffic misbehaving scrapers are inflicting on tiny servers.
2) Mention how I adapted Yann's plan to work on my Caddy setup, as they're using Nginx.
But all credit to Yann for the idea.
