Speaking personally, I feel like this website is bottlenecked by inconsistent widget margins and unintentionally obtuse design metaphors. Copying Teenage Engineering is not "taste" any more than drinking from a mug that Dieter Rams used to own is tasteful. The cargo cult of design has always been the problem, form has to follow function.
