Hey everyone, Two years ago, I hit a wall with burnout and went down the FIRE rabbit hole. I tried tracking and projecting everything in Excel, but it was a pain to use on my phone. I wanted something like YNAB projections feature, ProjectionLabs, but free and open-source. So, I built FutureSteps. It’s still early days (so no complex tax simulations just yet), but it does the job for me and I thought others might find it useful What it currently does: Projections: Year-by-year growth based on mid-year accumulation (great for salaried income). Snapshots: Compare your finances across different timeframes. Mobile Friendly: Syncs data so you can actually use it on your phone. Logic: Handles retirement math and priority management for cashflow surpluses/deficits. It’s open-source and free. I’d love some feedback if you have a moment to try the app. Link: https://futurestepsfinance.netlify.app Repo: https://github.com/JSOClarke/FutureSteps
