There is no secret someone else can tell you, if you find yourself distracted all the time.

Weirdly, I need background noice to stay focused - like watching/hearing a movie. The background movie is one I already know by heart and so I‘m not distracted. Voices and music from those movies help me to calm and therefore focus.

Legally prescribed pharmaceuticals, caffeine, lately nicotine. I also have to start working immediately when I sit down - and continue working until the day is over. Any prolonged break risks taking me out of my resource state.
